CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday rejected claims about 2025 board exam paper leaks as “baseless and are intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents.”

“The Board has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations. It has come to the Board’s attention that certain unscrupulous elements are spreading rumours on YouTube, Facebook, `X’ (formerly Twitter), and other social media platforms regarding paper leaks or claiming access to the 2025 examination question papers. These claims are baseless and are intended to create unnecessary panic among students and parents,” CBSE said in a statement.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is taking a firm stance against individuals involved in leaking question papers or spreading rumors related to the board exams. Recognizing the detrimental impact of such activities on the integrity of the examination process and the stress it causes to students, the board has announced a collaborative effort with law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute offenders.

The CBSE is committed to maintaining the sanctity of the exams and ensuring a level playing field for all students. Leaking question papers or spreading misinformation not only compromises the fairness of the assessment but also creates unnecessary anxiety and disruption for examinees. Therefore, the board is actively working with authorities to track down those responsible for these illegal and unethical acts.

The board has made it clear that students found to be involved in such activities will face serious consequences. These actions will be dealt with strictly under the CBSE’s Unfair Means (UFM) rules. Furthermore, depending on the nature and severity of the offense, individuals may also be prosecuted under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This decisive approach underscores the CBSE’s determination to deter such misconduct and uphold the integrity of the examination system. The board’s message is clear: any attempt to undermine the exam process will be met with swift and decisive action.
