Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal have worked for the first time in the film Chhaava directed by Laxman Utekar. The film Chhaava is a historical drama based on the life of Maratha King Sambhaji, whose release was awaited for a year.Apart from Vicky, Rashmika Mandanna, Divya Dutta, Akshay Khanna, Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, etc., are also in lead roles in the film Chhaava. Chhaava is an adaptation of Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhaava.
Vicky plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava, which is his second film with director Laxman Uteka. Sara Ali Khan played the lead in their most recent collaboration, Zara Hatkar Zara Bachke, which was released in 2023. It’s interesting to note that Askhaye Khanna really stunned everyone with his performance as Aurangzeb in Chhaava, while Rashmika played Yesubai. Chhaava has been unstoppable since it appeared on the screen and has managed to blow up the box office.
Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 3
Chhaava saw a strong increase in box office collection on day 2, earning Rs 37 crores after earning Rs 31 crores on the first day. A report claims that Chhaava made Rs 48.5 crores on the third day (the first Sunday), bringing the total box office receipts for the film to Rs 116.5 crores.
Chhaava Opening Weekend Collection Records
It’s interesting to note that Chhaava earned Rs 85.5 crores throughout its first weekend of release, with Rs 37 crores earned on the first Saturday and Rs 48.5 crores on the first Sunday. It should be noted that Chhaava broke a number of box office records on the first weekend of release, including the biggest day 3 and first Sunday collections of 2025.
