The final examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) starting tomorrow, February 15. Students in Class 10 will take the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) papers on the first day between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. During the same shift, students in class 12 will take the Entrepreneurship paper.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam admit cards are now available via the Pariksha Sangam Porta school login. About 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are anticipated to take the Class 10 and 12 board examinations this year, according to the CBSE.

The board issued a notice about test ethics that covered the dress code, prohibited and permitted objects in the exam room, unfair methods practices (UFMs), and penalties.

CBSE board exam 2025: Instructions for candidates

  1. Read the information given on the admit card and follow them on the exam day.
  2. Read the instructions on question sheets and answer booklets before responding to questions.
  3. Both the admission card and the school identity card are required for regular students. Private students are required to carry their admit card along with any official picture ID.
  4. A transparent pouch, a geometry/pencil box, a blue/royal blue ink/ballpoint/gel pen, a scale, a writing pad, an eraser, an analog watch, a transparent water bottle, a metro card, a bus pass, and cash are additional things that are permitted within the exam room.
  5. Items such as printed or written text, pieces of paper, calculators, pen drives, log tables (which will be supplied by the centers), electronic pens, scanners, and other stationery are prohibited. Students with dyscalculia are allowed to utilize the exam center’s calculators.
  6. Mobile phones, Bluetooth, earbuds, microphones, pagers, health bands, smart watches, cameras, and other communication devices are prohibited.
  7. Wallets, goggles, handbags, pouches, etc., are not allowed.
  8. Any edible food, whether sealed or packaged, is prohibited unless the student has diabetes.
  9. While private students are permitted to wear casual clothes, regular students are required to wear the school uniform.
