Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday launched its election campaign song ‘Dil Valo Ki Delhi Ko Ab BJP Sarkar Chahiye’ for the polls to the Delhi Assembly on February 5. Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirhaua sang the song in support of the party. This is the fourth campaign song by the party, and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said that in recent times, music and media have played an important role in reaching out to the voters.
Along with the song her, Sachdeva took the opportunity to applaud the Union budget that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had presented the previous day. Terming the budget as ‘the golden budget of Amrit Kaal’, regional languages from all sectors of society would get the benefits from the budget. “Across the country the budget is being celebrated.” There are numerous projects and schemes that will benefit all parts of it. Sachdeva lauds the visionary approach of the govt and says he has never seen a budget like this in his entire political career.
BJP MP from Mangalpuri Manoj Tiwari also supported the budget saying that proposal of not imposing income tax on those who earn less than ₹12 lakh is good. However, Tiwari said this was a major help for those working hard every day and are skilled professionals. He also criticized the current administration’s policies, opposition leaders, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, are accused of corruption and misuse of welfare schemes that resulted in legal tangles for some.
On the lines of consolidating their base and getting the voters to Delhi in their favor, the BJP has released the poll song and is vouching for the Union Budget.
