Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has reached Tokyo on a four-day visit to Japan. During this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Indian Ambassador Sibi George in Japan’s capital Tokyo on January 28. Both met at the Imperial Hotel. During this meeting, both discussed the strong and historical relations between India and Japan.
CM Yadav and George also focused on how to further strengthen these relations so that the trade-economy alliance between Madhya Pradesh and Japan becomes stronger. It is worth noting that CM Yadav is on a four-day visit to Japan. His visit will continue till 31 January. During this, he will invite industrialists and investors of Japan to attend the Global Investors Summit (GIS). He will discuss with everyone one-to-one and inform them about various investment opportunities. This GIS will be held in the capital Bhopal on 24-25 February. Investors from many countries of the world will participate in this summit.
Regarding this meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav wrote on social media ‘X’, a new chapter in Madhya Pradesh-Japan friendship. Amid preparations for the Global Investors Summit 2025 under Invest Madhya Pradesh, the first day of the Japan visit began with a courtesy call on Indian Ambassador Shri Sibi George. In this, the long-standing relations between Japan and India were discussed. The discussion focused on opportunities to promote industrial activities between Japan and Madhya Pradesh and potential economic zones.
NRIs welcomed him by applying tilak
Let us tell you, CM Yadav reached Japan’s capital Tokyo early in the morning today. On reaching here, he was given a warm welcome by the NRIs. NRIs applied tilak on him and tied a turban on him, the NRI community also gifted him a traditional sword, after meeting the Indian Ambassador, CM Yadav will hold a meeting with industrialists. CM Yadav will also visit Mahatma Gandhi Park located in Edo Gawa City. Here he will offer floral tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. After that he will participate in the road-show ‘Celebrating India-Japan Relationship: Madhya Pradesh’ organized at the Indian Embassy at 11:30 am.
Will have one-to-one meetings with industrialists
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will discuss with industrialists here on the possibilities of investment and partnership. He will have one-to-one meeting with industrialists here. He will meet prominent industrialists and organizations of Japan and will shed light on the possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh. Prominent industrialists include big names like Keidanren (Japan Business Federation), Jetro HQ.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will attend the banquet organized at the residence of the Indian Ambassador at 3:30 pm. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will visit the tourist places of Tokyo during this time. Apart from this, he will have discussion and lunch with Friends of MP. CM Yadav will also visit Kobe and Osaka. He will meet the officials of ‘Sismex’ company in Kobe and visit their site. After traveling from Kobe to Osaka, he will discuss with the officials of ‘Panasonic Energy’.
