Union Budget 2025 to be held in 2 phase, who presented India’s first budget?
The Union Budget 2025 session of the Indian Parliament is structured into two distinct phases to facilitate comprehensive discussions and approvals.
The first phase is scheduled from January 31 to February 13, 2025, during which the budget proposals are presented and initial discussions are held.
February 13 to March 10, 2025, allowing various parliamentary committees to examine the budget proposals and the Demands for Grants of different ministries in detail.
The session will reconvene on March 10 and continue until April 4, 2025, to finalize
the budgetary process, including discussions on the demands for grants and the passage of the Appropriation Bill and Finance Bill.
