A video has been going viral over the internet, where a verbal argument took place between air travelers and SpiceJet staff. The dispute arose when a flight which was initially supposed to depart at 11:40 AM was late by four hours. The viral video also showed the anger among the individuals as they waited for their flight to arrive for hours.
In the video, it was also seen that the passengers, after waiting for two hours, asked for basic necessities such as food and water from the Spicejet staff. To this, the staff responded by saying it would take a few hours to arrive as it is coming from Mumbai to Goa. This further made the passengers even more upset as they criticized the Mumbai airline authorities for not maintaining the basic necessities even when the flight has been delayed.
This became even more intense when the passengers notice that some of their demands were gone unanswered. It was also shown in the video that the airline staff showed aggressive behaviour towards them, when the passengers showcased concerns on the negligence. One of the individuals remarked this incident as heartbreaking, as he said that the air travel regulations and customer safety were not followed.
The video also showcased the confrontation between the staff and passengers but some of the segments were hard to hear. A staff member said, “If this person was dying anyone would help them without thinking twice.” This happened when the staff member reportedly denied giving water to a dying man to which others propelled.
