Prime Minister Narendra Modi, making his podcast debut on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s People by WTF series, said that mistakes happen and he too is susceptible to making them. PM Modi, in a podcast with Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath, outlined the necessary qualities a politician must have to succeed, emphasising the power of communication, dedication, and staying connected with people. PM Modi said individuals with a mission will succeed, while those driven by personal ambitions will fail in the field of politics.
“Mistakes happen, and I too can make some. I am also a human, not god,” PM Modi told Mr Kamath. The Zerodha co-founder also shared his apprehension about his language skills in the beginning of the podcast, jokingly referring to his “bad Hindi.”
“Success in politics demands extreme dedication, a constant connection with the people in their good and bad times, and the ability to work as a team player. If someone believes that everyone will listen to them or follow their way of functioning, they are mistaken. While they might win a few elections, there’s no guarantee they will emerge as a successful leader,” said in his podcast debut.
