Mahakumbh 2025: To make the divine and grand Mahakumbh completely safe, the management has made strict security arrangements. This time the police has made AI technology its weapon. More than 2700 AI CCTVs have been installed in Mahakumbh Nagar. They will directly monitor suspicious activities and report them to the control room. 37,000 policemen and 14,000 home guards have been deployed during the fair. Along with this, NSG, ATS, STF and other security agencies are also keeping a vigil. Every corner is safe under the surveillance of CCTVs and intelligence agencies. Even a bird will not be able to fly in the fair.
So far 123 watch towers have been built in the entire fair area, where snipers, NSG, ATS and civil police personnel are deployed. The watch towers have been designed in such a way that the entire area can be monitored with the help of binoculars. Security personnel equipped with ultra-modern weapons and equipment are present on every watch tower. All the watch towers have been installed at heights and strategic places, so that there is no lapse in security. Along with the police, the water police and the fire brigade are also fully alert.
DIG of Maha Kumbh Mela Vaibhav Krishna said that about 45 crore devotees, bathers, Kalpavasis and tourists are expected to come to Maha Kumbh from the country and abroad. In such a situation, strict surveillance is being maintained at every step for their security. Watch towers have been built at different places in all the zones and sectors of the fair. Special arrangements have also been made for security on the seven main entry routes.
Tight security at main religious places
Special watch towers have been built at sensitive places like Akhara area, Bade Hanuman Mandir, Parade Ground, VIP Ghat, Arail, Jhusi, and Salori. The soldiers deployed here are equipped with modern weapons and equipment.
