Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress President Rahul Gandhi went to the vegetable market to know the price of vegetables. Here he enquired from the shopkeeper about the price of many vegetables including garlic, tomato, and turnip. The shopkeeper told him that garlic was Rs 400 per kg. Rahul Gandhi has posted a video of his visit to the vegetable market on social media, where he has written that rising inflation has spoiled the budget of the common man’s kitchen and the government is sleeping like Kumbhakaran.

In the video shared by Rahul Gandhi, it is said that it is from the vegetable market of Hanuman temple located in front of Giri Nagar in Delhi. In the video, the women say that they have invited Rahul Gandhi for tea so that he can come and see how much inflation has increased, due to which our budget is constantly deteriorating. While talking to Rahul Gandhi, the women say that no one’s salary has increased, but the rate has increased and will still increase.

In the video, Rahul Gandhi asks the women what they are buying today? A woman says that she is buying some tomatoes and onions to last a while. Another woman asks the vegetable vendor why vegetables are so expensive this time? He says that no vegetable is less than Rs 30-35, all are more than Rs 40-50.

In the video posted by Rahul Gandhi, the vegetable vendor says that this time there is a lot of inflation, which has never happened before. Rahul Gandhi asked the vegetable vendor how much is the price of garlic? The vegetable vendor tells him that it is Rs 400 per kg.

Rahul Gandhi asked a woman why do you think inflation is increasing? She said that the government is not paying attention to inflation at all, it is only concerned with its speeches. The government is not concerned about what the common man will eat. Things which were earlier priced at Rs 500 are now priced at Rs 1000. To reduce expenses, cuts will have to be made again, which will cause problems for us.
