The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) students appearing for class X and XII 2025 board exams. In the notice, it has been informed that if the CWSN students desire to avail themselves of any facilities/exemptions permissible by the board during the examinations, they can submit their requests using the web portal as done in previous years.
CBSE CWSN facilities 2025: Eligibility and application process
1. Schools are required to log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal using their login ID and password.
2. Upon accessing the CWSN portal, schools will see a list of their CWSN students, as provided in the LOC (List of Candidates) data.
3. The portal also highlights the facilities permissible for each category of disability, enabling schools to select the appropriate provisions for their students.
4. Schools must upload the required documents to support the facilities requested for CWSN students. These documents include medical certificates, educational assessments, and psychological evaluations, as specified by CBSE guidelines.
The application process is entirely online, and schools must log in to the portal using their credentials to submit requests. The deadline for submitting applications is December 28, 2024.
Requests sent earlier to the CBSE directly (offline or by any other mode) for availing exemptions by the schools will also be uploaded by the schools on the website during the above-stated schedule. “No request of any sort will be catered to after the schedule is mentioned and in offline mode,” read the notice further.
The manual for making the request is annexed with the request to read it carefully and for the needful to be done accordingly. The schedule will not be extended. Hence, all schools should complete the process within the schedule.
