New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal is going to launch a scheme to help the elderly ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi early next year. Ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday made another big promise that its government will launch the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ after the elections, which will provide free treatment to all elderly people aged 60 years or above.
He said that if AAP forms the government, the elderly of Delhi will get free treatment. The Delhi government will implement this scheme to keep the elderly healthy and will provide free treatment to everyone in private or government hospitals as soon as the government is formed. In return, all the elderly of Delhi will support the Aam Aadmi Party.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal has made two big announcements keeping the next assembly elections in mind: First, he announced “five guarantees” to help auto drivers, and secondly, “AAP” promised that if his government is formed in Delhi, every woman will be given a monthly assistance of Rs 2100.
Kejriwal last week announced a Mahila Samman Yojana under which women in Delhi above the age of 18 will start getting Rs 1,000 per month and Rs 2,100 after winning the election.

The party is once again trying to make ‘free freebies’ a key issue in the Delhi elections. Arvind Kejriwal himself, in every rally and padyatra, never forgets to list the six freebies, which include 200 units of electricity, water and medical treatment, and said that the seventh freebie is coming in the form of financial aid to women.
For its fourth consecutive victory in Delhi, AAP has made new promises to the people and on the other hand, it has also announced the candidates first. The party has fielded its candidates on all 70 seats, in which Kejriwal has cut the tickets of 20 of his MLAs to overcome the anti-incumbency trend of 10 years, while he did not hesitate to change the seats of big leaders like Manish Sisodia and Rakhi Birla.
The term of the Delhi Assembly will run till 23 February 2025, so Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party will try to come to power for the fourth time. Delhi Assembly elections are to be held in February 2025.
