Raipur. The issue of irregularities in Jal Jeevan Mission was raised on the second day of the winter session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. BJP MLA Dharamlal Kaushik asked during the Question Hour that why the tender of the contractors was not cancelled on the complaint of irregularities.
BJP MLA Dharamlal Kaushik asked during the Question Hour that notices have been issued to the contractors who have committed irregularities in Jal Jeevan Mission, what were the complaints in it. When were the complaints received. Action was taken on the complaints of public representatives, but why was their tender cancelled even after the complaint was found to be true?
Minister Arun Saw replied that action has been taken on all the complaints received. Contractors have also been blacklisted. More than 700 complaints were received. On this, Dharamlal Kaushik said that will you get the ED to investigate the fraud of more than 100 crores on the complaint of fake experience? On this, Minister Saw said that investigation is going on, action will be taken on its basis. If needed, FIR will also be filed, strict action will be taken.
