New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party announced its candidates on all 70 seats. The party is contesting the elections with full confidence and full preparation. BJP is missing. They have no CM face, no team, no planning and no vision for Delhi. They have only one slogan, only one policy and only one mission – “Remove Kejriwal”. Ask them what they did in 5 years, and they reply – “Kejriwal ko bahub gaali di”.
BJP has suffered a setback before the Delhi Assembly Elections to be held in February next year. BJP leader Ramesh Pehalwan and his wife Kusumalatha Ramesh have joined AAP. Kusumalatha is currently a municipal councilor. On Sunday (15 December), both took membership of the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
On Ramesh joining AAP, Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am happy to have Ramesh Pehlwan and his wife Kusumlata re-inducted in AAP. Ramesh Pehlwan had joined AAP in 2013. In 2017, he left AAP for some reason. He is returning after seven years. If you ask the people of his area, they will say that Ramesh ji and Kusumlata ji stay among their people 24 hours a day.
Not only BJP, some big faces of Delhi Congress have also joined AAP. AAP has given place to the faces from both the parties in its first three lists. While some faces of AAP have also left it and joined BJP or Congress. Just last month, AAP’s Municipal Councilor Ram Narayan Bhardwaj joined BJP along with his son. While a day before this, Harsharan Singh Balli had returned to BJP.
AAP had released the list of 32 candidates so far. In the second list, AAP had fielded 20 candidates. In this, the party changed the seats of some of its leaders and also gave a chance to a new face like Awadh Ojha. Apart from this, Arvind Kejriwal has also given tickets to leaders who came from other parties. Only one candidate’s name was released in the third list.
