Indore. Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh reached shop no. 56 on Sunday morning and enjoyed pohe-jalebi. During this time, a crowd of fans gathered there and Diljit greeted everyone with folded hands. Diljit Dosanjh reached Indore yesterday evening. His concert is to be held at C-21 Estate Ground this evening, in which thousands of fans will participate. The police security arrangements for the concert are tight. It is worth noting that Diljit Dosanjh is doing ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ in India. A show of this is being organized in Indore.
Meanwhile, the concert has come under the scrutiny of the tax department. The GST department has written a letter to the organisers asking for details of ticket sales and tax related to this event. Through the letter, the department has sought information from the organisers about the total number of tickets sold, their price and how much amount has been deposited so far as tax.
The Bajrang Dal staged protests on Saturday against Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s concert, scheduled for Sunday, December 8, in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) member Yash Bachani said that the Bajrang Dal might take to the streets to protest the event and oppose the serving of meat and liquor.
“Bajrang Dal got information about a concert happening in the city where there would be open liquor and meat would be served. We have come here to inspect the same and to ensure whether there are arrangements being made for women’s safety by the police administration. We are also alert about any Love Jihad incident happening here. We oppose the open liquor and serving of meat to protect the culture in the city. Bajrang Dal can come out on the streets to protest against the concert tomorrow. We will let you know about our decision,” Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) member Yash Bachani told.
