New Delhi: An explosion was reported from Prashant Vihar of Delhi’s Rohini on Thursday morning, over a month after a blast had tigered panic in the same area. The explosion on Thursday took place near PVR in Prashant Vihar, area.

The explosion took place near the boundary wall of a park adjoining the sweet shop, Bansi Wala. Police and fire tenders rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident.

Earlier on October 20, an explosion ripped through a wall of the CRPF school in Prashant Vihar and no one suffered injuries. The blast, however, triggered panic among the people and the sound was heard a few kilometres away.

The explosion, captured on a CCTV camera, damaged a portion of the school wall and shattered the windowpanes of nearby shops and a few cars.

A white powder-like substance was found at the spot with initial investigations suggesting that the blast may have been caused by a crude bomb
