Raipur: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is likely to visit Raipur, and his schedule has been finalised. Senior railway authorities have revealed that the minister will journey from Nagpur to Raipur by rail, which will be an important event for both places. As to the detailed schedule for these programs, measures have been launched to facilitate smooth visiting.
According to the official itinerary, the Railway Minister will leave Delhi on November 24 at 8:10 PM and reach Nagpur by 9:40 PM of the same day. He shall spend his night in Nagpur. On November 25, he is scheduled to attend the annual event of the SC-ST Association at 8:00 AM. Following this, he will depart Nagpur at 9:50 AM for Raipur via train.
Whether he will have a window trailing inspection or if he will be directly coming in contact with passengers during his journey from Nagpur to Raipur is still not very clear. It is hoped that the chosen train can accommodate passengers and travel from Nagpur to Raipur in not more than four hours. This has sparked interest among the officials and passengers because inspections and public meetings normally accompany such trips.
As per the schedule shared by the Railway Ministry, the minister will reach Raipur at 1:15 PM. After completing his engagements in the city, he will board a flight to Delhi at 2:15 PM.
This visit has been announced now, which has caused railway officials like the General manager and head of RPF IG to start making preparations. Train control centres of Nagpur and Raipur are directed to make sure that all stations are clean and set for the celebrations. To improve the minister’s experience, the Raipur Railway Division has given precise guidelines for improving the existing facilities at the stations.
As scheduled by the railway minister, Raipur and Nagpur are needed on the Indian railway map, which is likely to provide a road map for future infrastructure requirements.
