So, the Indian stock market will remain closed tomorrow for the Maharashtra Election 2024.
At around noon today, the BSE Sensex was trading 1,032 points, or 1.33%, higher at 78,368. The Nifty50 was up 305 points, or 1.3%, trading at 23,758.45.
The Nifty has fallen close to 10% from its September 27 record high of 26,277, which is typically considered a correction zone and a drop of 20% from the peak would place Dalal Street officially in the bear market zone.
