Mumbai: The film ‘Sabarmati Report’ starring Vikrant Massey is based on the incident of the burning of an S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express near Godhra station (Gujarat) on 27 February 2002, after which communal riots broke out in Gujarat. The film had performed well on Sunday but saw a decline in its numbers on Monday. According to a report, this film has earned more than ₹7 crore so far in India.

On the first day, the movie made₹1.25 crore, on the second,₹2.1 crore, and on the third,₹3 crore. On day four, it earned ₹1.10 crore nett in India as per early estimates. The movie has made a total of ₹7.45 crore in domestic sales thus far. The Hindi occupancy rate for the Sabarmati Report on Monday was 16.04% overall. Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan are the producers of the film, which is directed by Dheeraj Sarna. Featuring Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra, and Raashii Khanna.
