Mumbai: BJP has released the third list for the Maharashtra assembly election. The third list contains the names of 25 candidates. In this way, BJP has announced a total of 146 candidates so far. Apart from this, the party has also announced the candidate for Nanded Lok Sabha by-poll. Dr. Santuk Marotrao Hambarde has been given the ticket from here.
The party had earlier announced 99 candidates in its first list on 21 October. The second list released on 26 October had announced the names of 22 candidates. Today (28 October) the third list has released the names of 25 candidates. Thus, BJP has announced a total of 146 candidates in Maharashtra so far.
Mahayuti includes BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP. So far 256 names have been announced in Mahayuti. This includes BJP, Shiv Sena Shinde faction and NCP Ajit faction. 65 candidates have been announced in two lists of Shiv Sena Shinde faction. Whereas 45 names have been announced in two lists of Ajit faction. Mahayuti has fielded 231 candidates on a total of 288 seats in Maharashtra assembly elections.
The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. The assembly elections in the state will be held in a single phase on November 20 for all 288 seats. The results will be declared on November 23. The term of the current assembly is ending on November 26.
