New Delhi: The Delhi residence of actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha was visited by Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj, popularly known as Jagadguru.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand is the 46th Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth in Saraswati, Uttarakhand. Generally, Shankaracharya does not go to anyone’s house to meet them. Ms. Chopra and Mr. Chadha welcomed the Shankaracharya to their home, accompanied by other seers.
The Shankaracharya was welcomed by Mr. Chadha at their home. To greet him, Ms. Chopra and other family members performed an aarti after he touched his feet. Last year, the couple married at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in front of close friends and family members as well as a number of well-known figures from the political and entertainment industries.
They also asked for blessings during a puja at their home. The couple also interacted with Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati.
The heads of four cardinal monasteries founded by the Hindu philosopher Adi Shankara in the eighth century are known as “Shankaracharyas.” Odisha, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, and Gujarat are home to these monasteries.
