The Congress has announced its list of candidates for the seven Rajashtan by-election sets for November 13.
According to the list, the party has nominated Aryan Zubair from Ramgarh, Amit Ola from Jhunjhunu, Kastur Chand Meena from Deoli-Uniara, Deen Dayal Bairwa from Dausa, Reshma Meena from Salumber (ST), Ratan Chaudhary from Khinswar, and Mahesh Rot from Chorasi (ST) as fielded.
In a post on X, Congress Rajasthan Chief Govind Dotasra wished the candidates. He said, “Hearty congratulations to all the Congress candidates and best wishes for victory in advance. I have full faith that in the by-elections, the public will give strength to public issues by making the Congress candidates victorious with a huge margin and will teach a lesson to the failed BJP government.”
Voters will cast ballots in the Rajasthan by-polls on November 13, and the results will be recorded on November 23. Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal are among the 15 states where 48 constituencies are up for by-polls.
In addition to the Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) earlier on October 15 announced that by-polls would be held in two phases for 48 Assembly constituencies and two Parliamentary seats.
On November 13, voters will cast ballots in the first phase, which will include 47 Assembly seats and Kerala’s Wayanad parliamentary seat.
