Indore: An incident of firing near the house of BJP Shailja Mishra in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has sparked off controversy. Claims have been made that three young men fired in succession near her locality in close circles. Traces of blood were spotted on the street by the police. Significantly, MLA Usha Thakur had gone to meet Shailja Mishra only a few minutes before the event took place. The firing occurrence happened in the Police Station area of Chhatripura.
As per the first-hand information received, late last night, some unknown youths came on motorcycles near the residence of Shailja Mishra and fired several rounds aimlessly. The police, without wasting time, headed for the scene to investigate and have since gone to the various hospitals within the affected areas to carry out a follow-up to establish whether some of the victims were admitted to hospitals with various degrees of injuries.
However, so far, DCP Rishi Kumar Meena has not stated that there were ever shots fired at all. He pointed out that he had not seen any bullet casings at the scene, and neither had any of the victims been seen seeking medical attention at hospitals. The police reached the scene through a tip-off from some of the locals in the area.
The actual pursuit of the suspect is still under investigation, and these operators are searching to put together more details of the incident. Though such things as bullet casings or injured persons were never found, the blood stains on the wall or the statement from the people who witnessed the event cannot be explained away. This event has raised concern, particularly in relation to its proximity to a house of a notable political personality and a close previous visit by MLA Usha Thakur.
The authorities involved in the case remain active, thus amassing more proof and interrogating potential subjects to fully understand the type of occurrence in question. More are expected as the case evolves.
