Bhubaneshwar: A daughter of Odisha’s Bonda Tribe has passed the Odisha Civil Service (OCS 2022) examination by studying only from YouTube without coaching and now she will become an officer. Now the hard work of this daughter is being discussed all over Odisha. The result of this examination was declared on Saturday. Bini Muduli, who comes from the tribal-dominated Bonda Hills of Malkangiri district, has achieved the distinction of becoming the first OAS officer of her tribe by securing a brilliant rank despite financial difficulties.
Crediting her family and well-wishers for her success, Bini said, “I am very grateful that I became the reason for my family’s happiness. What can be a greater happiness for a child than seeing tears of joy in the eyes of their parents.”
Bini Muduli further said, “Due to financial constraints, I mainly focused on self-study. My main source of knowledge was YouTube. I learned a lot by watching online videos. After passing the prelims, I had to take the help of an institute to prepare for the mains.”
An emotional Bini Muduli said, “My future goal is to uplift my community and all those who are struggling to do something better in life or who are willing to bring out the best in themselves. I hope my story will inspire those who dream of doing something big in life.”
Despite being a government school student, Bini’s success is an inspiration and a ray of hope for all those who have the courage to dream big.
With tears of joy, Bini’s father Ram Muduli, who is a cook at a government ashram school, said, “My daughter worked very hard. She always had a dream of doing something big. Today, all her hard work has paid off. She has brought glory to our entire Bonda tribe.”
