Bhopal: Vishnu Datt Sharma, the BJP state president, has come down heavily on the objectionable video featuring Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Babu Jandel and the lack of response from Congress leaders. Sharma accused Jandel of using vulgar language against Lord Shiva, arguing that whatever the Congress party does is emblematic of its mission to dismantle Sanatan culture. He protested against the Congress party’s leadership and asked, “Is Congress a shop of love or insults?”

Sharma said that it was very important what Jandel had to say and that the Congress leaders should not reply to his remarks. “What is surprising is that the senior Congress leaders did not react to his comments.” He noted that leaders such as Digvijaya Singh and Jitu Patwari avoided asking questions from the media during a press conference, which reaffirms the party’s reluctance regarding such crucial issues. “The nation wants to know whether your shop of love has developed into a shop of insults,” he added.

He alleged that the Congress party was a party that wished to insult Hindu gods and wanted to exterminate Sanatan dharma. He asked Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge these questions, saying that the country and followers of Sanatan Dharma are asking the Congress party questions.

Most social organizations have demonstrated against Jandel, implying that the public is uncomfortable with Jandel’s remarks. As for the situation, Sharma unveiled that the BJP aims to sue the individuals who participated in this. He raised the concern of disputing such cross comments and emphasizing the honour of Hindu gods and goddesses in societies. The BJP’s stance is clear: they will not allow any activity that sullies Hinduism, and those who do so will be dealt with.
