Haryana New CM Oath Ceremony 2024: It is indeed a historical moment for Haryana that Nayab Singh Saini takes the oath of CM for the second time. The Haryana Assembly became a reality through the Haryana CM Oath Ceremony, as Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya swore in Saini, accompanied by the new ministers: BJP’s big-shots Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goel, Shruti Choudhry, and Aarti Singh Rao.

Other dignitaries present were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and numerous Chief Ministers from BJP ruling states, such as Madhya Pradesh’s Mohan Yadav and Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath. As the Dera chief claimed that over fifty thousand people would gather in Panchkula, large-scale security was lent in Panchkula, and a traffic advisory was released around the venue of the event.

On Wednesday, while Nayab Singh Saini was the unanimous choice for the BJP legislative party leader, he staked his claim to form the new government in Haryana. The MLA Krishan Kumar Bedi nominated the candidate of BJP, while the other senior leader, Anil Vij, also expressed his intention to be a chief ministerial candidate. Ditto, Amit Shah and the CM of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, were central observers for this influential meeting.

Saini, the caretaker chief minister, was set up as the CM face for the BJP well ahead of the assembly elections. According to ECI, Saini emerged victorious in the Ladwa assembly constituency by garnering more than 16,000 votes against the Congress party rival Mewa Singh.

The ruling BJP pulled a surprise to achieve a hat-trick victory contrary to exit poll projections that had predicted the opposition Congress party to form a government. The BJP started the tide a bit late on early trends but came back strongly to clinch 48 seats.
