Balodabazar: An old man was murdered last night while sleeping in his house in village Lanja of Simga police station area. The incident has created a sensation in the area. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and after preparing the Panchnama of the dead body, they have started an investigation.
According to the information received, when Shatrughan Joshi (age 65 years) was sleeping in his house, unknown assailants entered the house and attacked him, leaving him bleeding, due to which he died on the spot.
Sources reveal that there was a dispute between the accused and the family of the deceased regarding money transaction, which was also reported to Simga police station. But the police did not take the matter seriously and postponed the matter. Meanwhile, the elderly man was murdered, which has created a stir in the police administration.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, officers including the Simga police station in-charge and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. In this case, the police have detained a suspicious youth, whose interrogation is going on. At present, the investigation of the case is going on and the police is trying to find out what is the real reason behind the murder.
