Bollywood: Controversy Queen, Kangana Ranaut, took to her Instagram handle to inform about her recovery from COVID-19.  After informing her fans, the Queen starlet said she doesn’t want to offend COVID fan clubs by giving tips on how she overcame the virus. 

 Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana wrote, “Hello everyone today I tested negative for covid, I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend covid fan clubs ….” “Yes, there are actually people out there who get offended if you show disrespect towards the virus …. Anyway, thanks for your wishes and love,” she added.

The 34-year-old actress tested positive on May 8, after which she took to her Instagram handle and shared about her diagnosis.  She termed COVID-19 as a ‘small-time flu which got too much press. The post was later deleted by Instagram for appearing to be tone-deaf. Prior to which her page flooded with criticism in the comment section.  Ms. Ranaut said the social media platform apparently deleted her post as she “threatened to demolish COVID.” 

Earlier in May, the Manikarnika star’s official account was permanently suspended by Twitter following her contentious tweets.  on the West Bengal election results and post-election violence. She was also at the receiving end of social media outrage for her tweets on the oxygen crisis. 

On the work front, the lady’s upcoming release Thalaiva is postponed owing to coronavirus.  Earlier this year, Kangana Ranaut won the Best Actress National Award for her films Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga.
