In its bid to promote women’s cricket, Google has featured today’s search engine logo for the participants of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament is prepared for the ninth time and will be held in the United Arab Emirates, where, as it will be, ten teams from different corners of the world will perform to demonstrate their best to win the championship title. The format is the initial round, which involves two sets of five teams in the group’s first round. After the round of the group’s matches, both teams from Group A and Group B, having the best performance, will then wait for the semifinals. The outcomes of these matches will produce the finalists to compete for the much-cherished cup will be presented.

The team that has won the previous events the Australians, who are so keen to win the seventh time in this championship, making them one of the most powerful teams in Women’s T20 cricket. The tournament also brings new features this year with the attendance of some new teams, such as Scotland.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Doodle, created by Google, was made live on 03 October 2024. This major event will be noticeable through the innovative alteration of the search engine logo, which will be seen in India, Bangladesh, the UAE, Australia, Scotland, and New Zealand.

At first, Bangladesh planned to host the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Yet, as political stability was an issue in Dubai at that time, the UAE was responsible for hosting the event instead. This international cricket tournament will feature 23 matches, with the final match of the tournament taking place on October 20, and all the matches are to be played in Sharjah and Dubai.

Bangladesh still officially hosts and began the 10-nation event on October 2, 2024. With an interesting start to the cricket series, Pakistan will be taking up the baton against Sri Lanka in the evening, which in addition marks a spirituous journey of celebrating the real strength of women through the series.
