Dindori: There was a sharp tragedy on the Dindori- Amarkantak road close to Taki-Nala when a bus that was travelling at a very high speed hit a motorcycle with a lot of force. Upon the accident, two students who were on the bike died on the spot. People of the village raised an alarm and informed Kotwali police who reached the spot and found both the young men critically injured. They were at once taken to the district hospital where the two were pronounced dead by the doctors.

This led to the families of the deceased making a complaint to the police and even to a proper investigation being made by the police. Importantly, the bus that caused the accident has been detained for a closer look and investigation.

From all the accounts in circulation, the ill-fated bus had number plates MP 18 P 0182 and was on its way from Amarkantak to Dindori. At the same time two student named Ashish Jhariya & Vivek Bansal resident of Dindori were going to their village Sadowachhapar. The bus and motorcycle were approaching the trading center at Taki Nala; the motorcycle hit the bus and exploded, and the riders of bike died on the spot in critical condition.

All the same, the lives of those affected could not be salvaged even though the authorities ensured quick transportation of the injured to the hospital. Ashish and Vivek studied at Mekal Suta College and their demise have shocked everyone in the College.

Currently, the police are putting all their efforts to ensure that they collect records and statements from eyewitnesses on the cause of this despicable accident. The families of the victims are left in despair that they can only cry for justice and demand the truth after this tragedy happened.
