Three people were caught on Sunday night firing in the parking lot of Gardens Galleria Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The gunfire occurred after two groups engaged in a brawl in a pub inside the mall. That led to an exchange of words, which grew worse when they proceeded to the parking lot. Again, as quoted from ADCP Manish Mishra, they discussed this in the pub prior to physically timelinesing themselves in the parking space. During the showdown, one of the individuals pulled a trigger, and there was shooting.

In the gunfire, three individuals were arrested, and the police managed to recover the firing weapon. An FIR has been filed at Sector 39 police station,” affirmed Mishra, further noting that the investigation was still underway. The authorities have, however, switched their concern to matters such as whether the weapon in question was brought into the premises.

Gardens Galleria Mall has been at the center of such heinous acts of violence for the second time. In recent months, the mall has recorded incidences of fighting and gun shootings. Only in June this year, four individuals were apprehended after engaging in a physical altercation when one became a victim of a cigarette theft. The incident, which also happened at the same shopping mall, turned sour, and videos of the incident went around circulation on social media platforms. Using six people, it was depicted in the footage that the fight was comprised of seven or eight people, and the security guards were unable to make the people stop the fight. A female was also seen doing what seemed like trying to pull apart one of the factions that were fighting.

Such incidences of violence have raised questions about the level of security in Gardens Galleria Mall; the authorities have been urged to increase efforts to improve security to prevent such occurrences.
