Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, declared the opening of Dal Bhat centers in all districts under the Annapurna scheme, where breakfast would be made available at only five Rupees. This scheme will help make food accessible to the labor community since it understands the effort that people put in to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Further, the Chief Minister of the state added that the workers’ children will now study tuition-free under the Atal Excellence Scheme. This program highlights the government’s efforts aiming at providing the next generation of laborers with a quality education that will allow them to have a better future by escaping the cycle of poverty.

Realizing the welfare of the workers, the CM also launched a mobile application for an online grievance redressal system and a Shramev Jayate website. This platform enables the workers to report their problems and to get help with ‘‘one click’. They also may contact the helpline, which number is 87713505050, for any kind of assistance. This system is also structured to consolidate that in a situation where a specific complaint remains unresolved; then other superior authorities will be informed of the matter, making it a good channel through which any worker can report the issue.

They even went with check distribution, to which the Chief Minister, Vishnu Dev Sai, said that a total of ₹49.53 crores have been disbursed to 57,000 laborers for 30 schemes and more through online DBT. During his speech at the event, he spoke about the Provident Fund for workers; he sought to reassure them that their contributions to this fund would be of great benefit to them irrespective of where they wished to be in the whole of this country. This is another evidence of the government’s continued commitment to the labor force and particularly the labor community to ensure that their rights and welfare are protected.
