Hindi Diwas 2024: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent out greetings to the public. Every year on September 14, the nation observes Hindi Diwas to mark the adoption of Hindi as one of its official languages.
PM Modi posted on X, “Many best wishes to all the countrymen on Hindi Diwas.”
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, wished everyone a warm Hindi Diwas earlier today, stating that all Indian languages are our pride and legacy and that we cannot advance until we enhance them.
“All Indian languages are our pride and heritage, without enriching them we cannot move forward. Official language Hindi has an unbreakable relationship with every Indian language. This year Hindi has completed 75 years of public communication and national unity as the official language of the country. I am confident that by taking all Indian languages together, official language Hindi will continue to contribute towards realizing the resolution of a developed India,” Amit Shah posted on X in Hindi.
“This year’s ‘Hindi Diwas’ is very important for all of us because, on September 14, 1946, the Constituent Assembly of India accepted Hindi as the official language,” the Union Minister added in a video greeting. “This year, we will commemorate the official language of Diamond Jubilee as it completes its 75th year. For the official language as well as the languages of each of our states, Hindi has been quite significant. Hindi has had numerous highs and lows. “All languages give strength to Hindi, and Hindi gives strength to all languages, whether they are Gujarati, Marathi, or Telugu…Under PM Modi’s leadership, a lot of work has been done in the past ten years to make Hindi and regional languages stronger. Speaking in Hindi at numerous international gatherings, Prime Minister Modi has raised awareness of the value of Hindi and stoked interest in both of our languages within our nation,” the Union Home Minister added.
“In the coming days, the Department of Official Language is also bringing a portal for translation from Hindi to all the languages of the Eighth Schedule, through which, whether it is a letter or a speech, we will be able to translate it into all languages in a very short time using Artificial Intelligence,” he stated.
