Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan on Monday (September 2) claimed that the ED team has arrived to raid his house. AAP MLA Amanatullah is accused of illegally recruiting 32 people in the Delhi Waqf Board. He also illegally rented out several properties of the Delhi Waqf Board. He is also accused of misusing the Waqf funds. In this case, action was also taken at the hideouts of Amanatullah’s close associates, in which a diary was found. This diary mentioned the transactions done by Amanatullah in India and abroad. ED has questioned him several times in this case.
In a post on social media platform X, he said that ED officials have arrived to arrest him.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has shared the video of ED raid and said that the dictatorship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ED continues.
ED sources have said that when the investigation agency team reached Amanatullah Khan’s house, he did not open the door. The ED team had reached the AAP MLA’s house to investigate the Waqf Board money laundering case. ED has questioned Amanatullah several times in this case.
Amanatullah Khan wrote on X, “ED people have just arrived at my house to arrest me.” After some time, Sanjay Singh shared the video of the raid and said, “Look at the cruelty of ED. Amanatullah Khan first joined the ED investigation. He was asked for time for further investigation. His mother-in-law has cancer, she has undergone an operation. They reached the house early in the morning to raid it. There is no evidence against Amanatullah, but Modi’s dictatorship and ED’s hooliganism continue.”
