Raipur: The political temperature in the state rose after Congressman MLA Devendra Yadav was arrested. The executive and legislative branches constantly attack each other in a battle of political rhetoric. In this regard, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao came down heavily on the Congress in reply to the allegations raised against his government. He said that action would be taken against all those who were part of the violence in Balodabazar.

Deputy CM Sao pointed out the conspiracy about the incident and said that people tried to tarnish and spit on the Satnami community. He charged those who have unravelled chaos disturbing the harmony of this great state will not go scot-free. He also underscored that the probe will not be selective because everyone involved will suffer, irrespective of the political association.

Arun Sao had more to say about the planned membership drive of the BJP and other related issues. He said the BJP is a democratic & constitutional party & about membership within the party, it follows the provisions of its constitution. After this, organizational elections are held, and decisions are made to build up the party from the bottom to the top. The membership campaign is planned with appointments of individuals at the national, state, and district levels, and strategies for the campaign shall be formulated to proceed in the state.

Regarding Congress’s planned siege of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office on August 22, Deputy CM Sao said that Congress was politicizing every issue for its own political benefit. He said that Congress wants to defame the country and its dignity, under which the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are particularly targeted. Even though they are so eager to go to any extent, this event has made it more apparent, he said.
