Korba: A horrific road accident has taken place in the district. A bus full of passengers and a trailer vehicle collided fiercely in the Morga Chowki area near Tara Valley. After this accident, both the vehicles fell into a 20 feet deep ditch. After the incident, there was a commotion on the spot and the passengers started screaming. More than a dozen passengers are reported to be injured in the accident. Some people are seriously injured. A young woman is trapped in the bus, who is being rescued.
According to the information, a bus carrying 35 passengers collided with a trailer near Tara Ghati. The collision was so strong that both the vehicles fell into a 20 feet deep ditch. After falling into the ditch, the trailer vehicle fell on the bus, due to which many passengers got trapped inside the bus. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Morga outpost in-charge Naveen Patel reached the spot with his team and started the work of evacuating the passengers. 12 people have been injured in the accident, while three are seriously injured. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
A young girl is trapped inside the bus, gas cutters and other equipment are being used to take her out. Outpost in-charge Naveen Patel said that the rescue operation is still going on and every possible effort is being made to rescue the girl safely.
