Mumbai: On Saturday and Sunday, parts of Mumbai experienced heavy rain and thunderstorms, which caused flooding and traffic jams in the area. The Mumbai Police advised all citizens to stay away from coastal areas for the time being due to the recent heavy rainfall spell.

On Saturday and Sunday, there was severe waterlogging in Mumbai’s residential areas, particularly in Dadar, Worli, Parel, Matunga, Mahim, and Prabhadevi. Homes in low-lying areas suffered significant structural damage as a result of rainwater seeping inside.
