Indian Crew missing in Oman: An oil tanker named Prestige Falcon capsized off the coast of Oman on Monday. The ship had 16 crew members on board who went missing after it capsized off. The crew included 13 Indians and three Sri Lankans.

According to the Maritime Security Council (MSC) Oman, the Comoros-flagged oil tanker capsized 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakh near the port of Duqm. MSC confirmed that the search and rescue operations are continuing to rescue the Indian crew missing.

In a recent update, the Indian Navy has joined the rescue operation to find the Indian crew missing, deploying its assets including the warship INS Tej and the surveillance aircraft P-8I, Navy sources said. Omani vessels and personnel are also engaged in the search for the crew of the Comoros-flagged ship.
