The movie is based on the true life story of India’s first Paralympic Olympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. Kartik plays the character Murli, who has the ambition to win gold in the Olympics. Even after facing criticism from his classmates, teachers, and parents and being nicknamed Chandu, Murli is bent on proving them wrong by winning the first gold medal in the Olympics and how he overcomes the health and other hurdles to become India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. The unique story of an extraordinary man is presented in a simple yet brilliant way.
