New Delhi: A police force of Noida visited the house of Amanatullah Khan, an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate, in Delhi after the issuance of a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him and his son about the case of assault. Nevertheless, neither dad nor son were at home and were presumably running away from the police officers as their phones were switched off.

The charges against him are related to an incident in which Amanatullah’s son, Anas, allegedly hit the staff members at a fuel pump in the neighboring Noida (UP) neighborhood. The disagreement happened in the pump Station named Shaheed Ramendra Pratap Singh, sector 95 in Noida. The investigation process was initiated based on the strong foundation of the FIR submitted by Vinod Kumar Singh, the station proprietor.

According to Singh’s complaint, on May 7th, around 9:27 am, a person in a Brezza car with Delhi registration number 3DQ456, who declared himself Amanatullah Khan’s son, arrived at the petrol pump Locally. Instead of waiting in a queue of vehicles or being patient about his turn, he came directly to the counter and demanded to be served first. He was charged when he allegedly attacked a staff member by force when ordered to wait.

Besides, Singh also claimed in the FIR that Amanatullah Khan, who turned in and verbally abused the manager, and the threats issued personally to him were the things where he put in.

The video appearing on CCTV allegedly published this event, and data quickly disseminated by media platforms, further fueling the controversy. Amanatullah and Anas have been charged under different sections of the Indian Penal Code. Some charges involved are hurt, intended insult to provoke drama, criminal intimidation, and willfully causing damage to the property.

The police’s appearance at Khan’s residence is not just a mere interrogation but shows the accused of serious charges, and the case investigation is a force. Still, the police and the city management are actively looking for the person who could potentially be the culprit of this crime, and the court proceedings are expected to start in the following days.
