Raipur: Now, travelers on the bus can get accommodation at the Bhathagaon bus stand in Raipur. This development will reduce the difficulties of those coming from faraway places to Raipur. To make bus travel easier for those staying at the bus stand, the guest house is being made at the bus stand. On Tuesday, Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh visited the guest house for the inspection.
The Municipal Commissioner Abhinash Mishra was also present during the inspection. The officials were instructed to immediately start the operation of the guest house. The bus stand not only serves the districts of the state that are far from the city but also it connects to the other states, which is a big step for the people who travel.
The Bhathagaon bus stand is a very important transport center in Raipur, serving thousands of passengers daily. Having the buses the ones that connect the different far-off places, the absence of accommodation facilities is the problem that has been there for a long time. People who are traveling usually have problems with finding good places to sleep, especially those who come at night or have long stops between their buses. Creating a guest house is the way to solve these problems and thus to make a nice and warm resting place available for the tired passengers.
The Collector, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, stressed the significance of the guest house in the effective improvement of the whole travel experience of the passengers. He emphasized that the facility is a component of a larger project that aims to upgrade public facilities and, hence, enable travelers to access critical services. The inspection was centered on the infrastructure status, the facilities offered, and the safety measures available.
The Municipal Commissioner Abhinash Mishra, who was also with the Collector, talked about the guest house’s operation. He promised that all the necessary facilities would be prepared to speed up the opening of the center.
