Silchar: In the course of campaigning in Dhubri, the Congress Party’s trained convict, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, charged the BJP with ensuring the tyranny of the criminals as Mafia Raj exists. Rokibul Hussainon stands as a candidate for the Congress party against AIUDF’s Bahauddin Ajmal, who has won the election for the district on three occasions.
Gandhi not only illustrates but also points out various master dons like land, supari, sand, and coal, which are actively operating under the rule of BJP in Assam. She named scams such as PPE masks, a flyover, as well as cow smuggling and blamed central BJP leaders for the silence about these issues. Gandhi targeted Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, alleging his past corruption allegations vanished upon joining the BJP.
She criticized PM Modi for campaigning for JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna in Karnataka despite scandal involvement. Gandhi accused Amit Shah of aiding Revanna’s escape abroad. In her speech, Gandhi suggested that AIUDF’s Ajmal Bahauddin concorded with Asaduddin’s Owaisi role in Telangana, where they performed opposite Congress roles being BJP agents. In her sting operation, she showed why AIUDF was supposedly contesting in the strongholds of Congress across Assam.
Priyanka Gandhi disapproved of the flagship programs of the BJP and reiterated Congress’s role in sustaining the nation.
