Diljit Dosanjh, a music celebrity who has left a mark on the industry with his accomplishments, has gone on to make history with his successive merits. He just did it a couple of days ago at a packed British Columbia Place(BC Place) stadium. It was their first event in Canada. Diljit, among others like him who have promoted Punjabi music globally, was doing this throughout the game. They took the hopes of a weakened nation higher by publicly sharing their performance on social media.
During his ‘Dil-Luminati Visit’ tour’s North American leg, Diljit Dosanjh sold out the “largest ever Punjabi show outside India” at the BC Place stadium, entertaining over 50,000 enthusiastic fans. His repertoire included popular hits like “GOAT,” “5 Taara,” “Lover,” “Kinni Kinni,” and “Ishq Mitaye” from his recent movie “Amar Singh Chamkila.”
With the host of the concert, Diljit, sharing this heart-touching moment, a six-year-old fan got on the stage to dance Bhangra with him. The little Bhullar’s boy, Aanakh, confessed that the food is a really good dance derivation. He thought Diljit to be an outstanding singer.
The moment was beautifully captured in a video when BC Place`s general manager presented Diljit with a congratulatory plaque. Moreover, this was a great way to commemorate the event as the biggest one ever outside India. The Canadian media highlighted it as a unique and first time such a massive Punjabi music performer gave a concert at the Vancouver-based stadium.
Diljit Dosanjh Insta never lacked in sharing his joy for the successful Dil-Luminati Tour through portraits and clips and so on, and looking back, the milestone was achieved. He captioned one post with, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN. BC PLACE STADIUM SOLD OUT. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR,” celebrating the success of the sold-out event.
In the camera-recording of a heart-warming note of appreciation, Diljit thanked C.J., whom he insisted was the general manager of the arena. Meanwhile, Diljit was handed a framed picture of Chris’s acting abilities with which he was extremely pleased. This act, however, made the whole stage erupt into a clamour and resounding applause.
