Assam’s Chief Minister and BJP leader, Himanta Biswa Sarma, were too aggressive when they launched a stinging attack on Congress, saying that they had made the manifesto for Pakistan’s elections. Addressing people in the Ernakulam district in Kerala on Sunday, the Assam Chief Minister accused the Indian National Congress (INC) party of preferring their agenda for Pakistan over India’s interests in their manifesto.

In a manifesto by Sarma, he claimed that Congress would make changes to the manifesto, which would mean balancing the needs of the country with the different groups that would want a share of the national resources. He tarred the opposition party with the claim that their policies had been set up to destroy our country’s economy. Sarma dared Congressmen to agree on at least one of the eleven challenges and then publicly debate their manifesto, which was all about appeasement.

Echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sentiments, Sarma highlighted the contentious issue of resource distribution, alleging that Congress’s manifesto favours specific communities. He emphasized the need for equitable access to national resources for all citizens.

Sarma asserted that every citizen, regardless of their background, has the right to the country’s resources. He endorsed Modi’s stance on resource distribution and criticized the Congress for allegedly prioritizing certain communities over others.

Showing eagerness to torment Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, by calling him “Pappu,” which is a derogatory term often employed by BJP members during attacks to mock him, Sarma fueled his criticism of Gandhi. He raised the point that Congress makes such decisions based on which towns or areas they think are more deserving of the resources rather than actual needs.

After objections were raised by the opposition party against PM Modi, Himanta Biswa Sarma came to the defence of the BJP party and mentioned that Congress had validated this reservation in terms of resource distribution. Special Classes discernment on whether the Congress manifesto objective deliberately is overlooking natives of Backward castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Scheduled castes [or] the regular taxpayers as the political party’s major purpose.
