Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an audacious statement on Saturday that suggested that Rahul Gandhi would meet a fate similar to that of his parliamentary constituency, Wayanad, as he did in Amethi, interpreting the possible chances of his defeat. Twisting a knife on Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi, while addressing a rally in Maharashtra’s Nanded, mentioned that BJP ousted Gandhi’s family from Amethi by contesting against Smriti Irani.

In turn, PM Modi said that, speaking about Rahul Gandhi as ensuring victory and calling him “Prince of Congress,” he will have to depart from both Wayanad and Amethi after losing them.

PM Modi added that after losing at Wayanad and being ousted as the Congress party leader, the Congress might find it difficult to ensure Rahul Gandhi’s security repeatedly in a new constituency. He emphasized the everydayness of the NDA, as well as the general election, in which the people overwhelmingly chose to support the electoral coalition at the beginning.

Highlighting the intense political rivalry, PM Modi questioned the strategy of opposition parties, particularly the “INDIA bloc partners,” who were contesting against each other for a significant portion of Lok Sabha seats. He pondered on their post-election plans given the current scenario.

PM Narendra Modi interested political workers and leaders from the other parties, he told them to go on with the same in the search of democracy and one day the opportunity might comes. He particularly emphasized the absence of the Congress candidates for Rae Bareli and Amethi, constituencies that had always been credited as the Gandhi family’s strongholds.

The devastating defeat of Rahul Gandhi in Amethi at the hands of Smriti Irani was symptomatic of the changing political atmosphere, and the fact that Sonia Gandhi vacated Rae Bareli to serve in the House of Rajya Sabha was indicative of the changing dynamics within the Congress.

Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of corruption against him, PM Modi dismissed them as baseless and accused Gandhi of running a “school of corruption.” He highlighted various aspects of alleged corruption under the Congress leader’s tenure, using social media to convey his message.
