Raipur: Ex-CM Bhupesh Baghel seems to be out of favor; according to what he said, those of the 29 Naxals who were killed by security forces were the ones who were still alive. He has given commendations to the assembly of warriors acclaimed for a superior feat of the security forces. Baghel was then quickly to point out that his former comment about a ‘fake-encounter’ was related to the fake allegation of the villagers which happened in the past. He discredited the BJP for being mischievous while connecting his past statement with the recent violence and stated that this marks very bad taste.

“I had referred to the alleged fake encounter concerning a previous incident where villagers had raised accusations. However, the recent killing of 29 Naxals by security forces is a remarkable achievement. I extend my congratulations for this success,” stated Baghel.

This distinction is the writer’s afterthought, opposing the speculations that came about after certain words he had used earlier during a speech were misquoted and connected to the recent anti-Naxalite operation. Baghel perceived the BJP as the main culprit of the deplorable politicization of the crisis. He protested it by calling it ‘most unfortunate’ in nature.

It is greatly noted that the Chief Minister tried to make a difference by emphasizing that the two things had nothing to do with each other and that his support and gratitude for the security forces is because of the great job they have done so far fighting Naxalism. He reiterated the imperativeness of acknowledging their courage and commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.

Through these, his main goals will be to dispel any misinformation and lay down a clear perception of his position. He declared that he would keep on backing the security organs and ensuring the security of his citizens. Such security is at the core of his agenda.

Baghel’s remark emphasizes the value of truthfulness and responsible communication on particularly delicate matters relating to internal security, including operations carried out by law enforcement agencies. This role, however, also emphasizes the responsibility of political parties to stay away from the leverage of such incidents for their own selfish interests and rather divert the discussion towards constructive dialogue to bring solutions to complicated challenges such as Naxalism.
