Indore: Perpetually taking measures against illegal activities, the police of Madhya Pradesh have been consistently stepping into legal aisles. In an upgraded situation of Indore city, the police executed a big arrest of a suspect engaging in dangerous liquor transportation. Besides that, as reported by law enforcement, a significant amount of liquor was recovered. The authorities right now are using allegations against the accused alongside interrogations.

DSP Umakant Choudhary explained that the Betma police station area received information from an informant regarding the illegal transportation of liquor by a vehicle. Acting on this tip-off, a checking point was set up. During this process, upon sighting the police personnel, the pickup truck driver attempted to flee by maneuvering the vehicle. The police pursued the vehicle for several kilometers before managing to halt it. Subsequently, one suspect fled into the jungle while the police apprehended another.

The truck searched during the inspection and found a considerable quantity of liquor concealed in vegetable baskets. The next step was for the detective to remove the suspect from the vehicle and escort them to the station. Police assume the crates figure at 171, and the value if these were to be sold comes to ~ rupees 6 lakhs. The Police are doing a charge against the suspect, who is also under investigation for the Excise Act. Alongside this, the culprit’s evasion is also under investigation.

This operation stands for the recent efforts of law enforcement agencies and is for fighting crime and creating a peaceful society in the region. The speed at which the police acted in maintaining the rule of law and protecting their citizens’ safety and security is one of the evidence of their work and determination.
