Raipur BJP candidate Brijmohan Agrawal, is to file a nomination for the Raipur Loksabha Election today after the rally. The campaigning is set to take off with a thunderous start from the team BJP nomination rally, where the party has a preset plan to make a crowd-pulling show of their support for the party’s candidate. The chief minister Vishnudeo Sai, the election in-charge for the state Nitin Nabin, the state predecessor Kirandev, the leaders Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma, MP Sunil Soni, and MLA Rajesh Manat along with all legislators, party officials, and workers will attend the procession and thus it will be an event of huge scale.
BJP officials and workers will assemble at 11 a.m. at “Ekātma Parisar” in Rajbandha Maidan. The rally will commence from here with drums, trumpets, and festive fervor. It will traverse through Jai Stambh Chowk, Tatya Para Chowk, Satti Bazaar, Sadar Bazaar, Kotwali Chowk, Malviya Road, culminating at Jai Stambh Chowk again, then proceeding to Shastri Chowk, Ghadi Chowk, and finally reaching the Collector’s office. Senior leaders, including the Chief Minister, will travel in open vehicles, with plans for some parts of the journey to be on foot.
Interestingly enough, Brijmohan Agrawal, representing Raipur South constituency as MLA for eight terms, has been given a Lok Sabha election ticket by the BJP this time.
