Bhopal: Today it is the beginning of the nomination filing stage of Lok Sabha elections for the forthcoming phase in Madhya Pradesh. April 19 is the submission deadline for the nominations. The scrutiny of candidates will take place a day later, on April 20. The last day for filing nomination and withdrawal happens on April 22. Former Chief Minister and Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Rajgarh, Digvijay Singh, announced his nomination filing on April 16. He urged party workers via social media to be present during his nomination filing and emphasized their active participation in booth committee meetings.

In his latest social media post, Digvijay Singh informed his followers that he would be declaring his intention to file for the Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat on 16th April, and expressed his gratitude to the supporters and, at the same time, urged them to participate actively in the forthcoming elections. He emphasized the role of their constituency office, which will help him during the filing of his nomination process. He encouraged them to publicly share pictures and videos pertaining to their engagements in social media platforms as a sign portraying the people’s collective action towards the party’s victory.

In the third stage of the election process, polling will be carried out in Muraina, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh, and Betul seats. Primarily, the elections in this phase have the participation of Sheshraj Singh Chauhan, Digvijay Singh, and Jyotiraditya Scindia, who are major candidates to watch out for.

The results of the phase-wise examinations will be announced on June 4 at the same time by the authorities.
