Trouble simmered in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, when land clearance for a government-owned land allocated for road construction caused an argument amongst the people residing there. The conflict turned to intolerable degrees of violence. Swords and clubs were resorted to, and the fight was on. Approximately 13 individuals from both factions sustained injuries and were admitted to medical college for treatment.
The incident unfolded in Shahjapur Badkhera village under the jurisdiction of Bhedaghat police station. The dispute arose between Prabhulal Kushwaha and Narayan Kushwaha regarding the clearance of a road on government-owned land. Allegedly, Prabhulal intended to clear the road, which met with resistance from Narayan and his family members.
In the ensuing clash, eight individuals from Prabhulal’s side and five from Narayan’s side sustained injuries. After receiving the news, the police hurried to the site and arranged medical assistance for the injured who were then treated in the hospital. Nevertheless, severe is the outcome of the others, three of them.
